I was recently invited to join Natalie Grueninger on her long-running Talking Tudors podcast! Natalie was a delightful host, and I got to learn a bit about her work as well.

Natalie and I talked about my research on medieval English women's literacy and education, and why I find my work so meaningful for the present day. You'll hear more about what girls and women learned, and where they learned it, and whether women could go to university in the Middle Ages. I also touch on medieval saints and how medieval aristocrats spent their time at home—and Natalie always ends her interviews with "Ten to Go," so you'll also hear why I recently rewatched Dirty Dancing and how I can't get enough of Barbara Erskine novels.
